The Lunar Trio is a cinematic piano trio (piano, violin, cello) bringing the magic of the silver screen to life with captivating renditions of iconic movie soundtracks, from Harry Potter to StarWars. Our talented ensemble, comprised of some of Britains finest musicians, performs expertly arranged cinematic music that transports audiences into the captivating worlds of their favourite movies.
Founded in 2013, Malmesbury Choir has grown into a vibrant and versatile community of 70 singers. We perform with joy, precision, and a touch of humour - bringing audiences music that moves, uplifts, and entertains.
Laurie Jones – Musical Director
Laurie Jones is the Musical Director and founder of the award-winning Malmesbury Choir, which he established 13 years ago. Under his direction, the choir has earned numerous accolades, including trophies at the Mid-Somerset, Swindon and Wootton Bassett Music Festivals.
With over 25 years’ experience as a professional musician and conductor, Laurie is Director of Music at Westonbirt School, Musical Director of the City of Bath Male Choir — awarded Best UK Choir at the 2026 CIMCF Festival — and Musical Director of the Norland College Choir.
